The logo/mascot on your plaque can only be as clear as the image provided to us. The higher resolution, the sharper the image will be. We recommend a resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch) for crisp, clear results. Lower resolution images will appear fuzzy, jagged and blurry. It is best to provide us with the original image before any resizing.
Almost as important is the actual size of the image. If you provide us with a 300 dpi image that is sized at 1” x 3”, the outcome will again be jagged and blurry. This is because once we resize the image larger to fit the plaque, the resolution diminishes.
Also, we advise you not to crop your images. Please allow us to do the cropping. You can suggest how you would like it cropped. We sometimes need that flexibility to best fit the photo to the plaque style.
The best method of sending your images is via email. Files should be in JPEG or PDF format and sent as attachments to your email. Do not embed the image directly in the body of your email. Do not insert the image in a document file such as Word. Provide us with the image separately from the text and we will do the rest.
